Primary Food basmati rice 250 gms
Green colour 6 drops (dissolved in 1 tsp water)
Red colour 4 drops (dissolved in 1 tsp water)
Boiled Peas 60 gms
Egg white 60 gms (boiled and chopped) or paneer cubes
Diced Tomatoes 60 gms
Cumin ½ tsp
Finely chopped Green chillies 2
Sliced Onions 60 gms
Coriander leaves 1 tsp
Cinnamon 1 stick
Cloves 6
Peppercorns 12
Green cardamoms 4
Ginger 15 gms
Garlic 6 cloves
Ghee 60 gms
Water 450 ml
Salt Salt to taste
Method Of Cooking:
  • Wash and soak Primary food basmati rice
  • Heat ghee in pan. Add onions, garlic and fry till done.
  • Add whole spices, green chilles, cumin seeds, ginger and salt.
  • Add rice and water to cook.
  • Once cooked, divide the rice into 3 equal parts.
  • In the first part, add green colour, peas and coriander leaves.
  • in the second part, add red colour, diced tomatoes.
  • in the third part, add chopped egg or fried paneer cubes.
  • Set them in the dish so that three layers are formed.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves, and dryfruits.
